Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American producer and actor, is known for playing in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. She graduated with an B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is a producer and American actor active in the theatre as well as television and film. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 and then appeared in independent, mainstream and TV series. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance in BET's epic TV series The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she debuted in the role of Ariel on the stage on stage in The Tempest. Her stage credits include The Broadway performance of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Her film career is highlighted by her appearances in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. Her work in television she's received praise for her part as the regular character in ABC's police drama High Incident.
