Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress who was known for her work across a range of genres in film television and theater. She received numerous awards, including her Daytime Emmy Award as well as a National Board of Review Award. Anne Celeste Heche (19 May 1969 - August 11 2022), An American actor. She made her debut as the twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap-opera Another World (1987-1991) winning her a Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Opera Digest Awards. In the late 1990s, she began to become famous for the roles she played in the crime drama films Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the film about horror I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer as well as the comedy about politics Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress from the United States. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the popular television show Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). She is the granddaughter and daughter of actor Gene Lockhart, as well as actress June Lockhart. Lockhart was only a few years old at the time her professional career started. When she was just four, Lockhart appeared in the film T is for Tumbleweed. The short film on the subject was nominated for the Oscar Awards. Her mother invited her to a studio where she learned about how the film industry worked. Lockhart also appeared in a few episodes of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 72 was her first film. She played the daughter of Joan Crawford in The Sixth Sense, a television series from 1972. Joan was the only actress to appear in the series The Sixth Sense. There is a popular belief that Anne did not want to play the part as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's film Halloween in 1978, which was later cast for Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter stated the actress was his initial option for the role, however, she declined. Anne doesn't recall ever being contacted from John Carpenter nor being offered the position. Perhaps one of her representatives declined the job on her behalf, without notifying her. Her initial choice was made to play the role by Glen Larson who sent her an initial script for a role in the 1978 series on television Battlestar Galactica. She initially refused the part as the character wasn't that powerful. In the future, Glen wrote a new part specifically for her, with the character that was stronger, Sheba. The Living Legend, the initial twenty-five pages she had already read it was immediately embraced. The show ran for one season. Co-starring in Joyride alongside Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
