Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter, when she was a character on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex for three of its final four seasons. In the series' episodes the singer-songwriter was seen performing her first country album. The album with the same name was ranked within the Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the follow-up album in 2015, was also among into the Top Ten. Her decade ended with appearances in Dancing with the Stars and appearing in a variety of TV shows alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. The girl was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music. She would later be pursuing a recording career. However, she made her debut acting as an actress, appearing on screen on the screen in the 2002 independent horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teen years. Gaston spots on shows such as All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the following years, until she was cast in the role in Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the series' second season 2007-2008. Kramer was cast in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as well as Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before joining the cast of the show on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she continued to appear until the final season of the show in 2012. She signed a contract for a record label Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I Won't Go Down" in one episode. It was featured later on Jana Kramer's debut full-length in the mid-2012 timeframe. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked the track in the Top Five. Kramer continued to appear in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would appeal to her fans. The second album of Kramer, Thirty One was released through Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet Aerosmith made the album achieve even greater success, reaching the number three place at the top of the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her stint on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended in a fourth place finishing. She also scored an adult contemporary hit in the form of Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
