Melissa Suzanne George, an Australian actress and businesswoman who also is an inventor and model. Melissa George began her modeling career as a model and actor in Australia. She later relocated to Hollywood. The native of Perth George was initially interested in dancing and artistic roller skating. George first began modeling when she was an teen and was awarded the Western Australian Teenage Model in 1992. Following that year, she appeared in an episode from Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away. The big screen debut came with Dark City, a mystery thriller. Her subsequent roles included support roles in projects such as Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005 she made her first mainstream Hollywood appearance on The Amityville Horror remake. The popularity of her character in American films is testimony to her success. George created Style Snaps, her product as the inventor.
